Consultation overview
Our phase one consultation on the Towy Teifi connection has closed
We’d like to thank everyone who took part in the consultation and provided feedback.
While the consultation has closed, the project team will continue to engage with stakeholders and the community as the project develops.
In our first non-statutory consultation we asked for feedback on the preferred route we've identified for an overhead line from the proposed Bute Energy Lan Fawr energy park to a National Grid substation in Llandyfaelog.
Next steps
All of the feedback we received will be reviewed, recorded and carefully considered as the project progresses.
We’ll use your feedback to review the decisions we've made to date and to inform our work going forward. We’ll also be undertaking surveys in the area to understand more about the local environment. Our next steps will involve more detailed routeing, and identifying locations for pylons and additional infrastructure.
Further information on the proposals will be available at our next round of consultation, currently scheduled for 2025. We will publish a Feedback summary report in due course, this will outline key themes and insights taken from the feedback received.
Your smarter, renewable future starts today.
